This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Establish relevant sales targets, strategies, programs, and budgets.
• Oversee sales operations through a mix of direct sales initiatives aimed at key stakeholder customer groups and via the sales network of Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Canada) Inc.'s independent distributors.
• Drive new business opportunities by promoting Delta Intelligent Building Technologies (Canada) Inc. products.
• Identify and pursue new owner-direct, national account prospects.
• Cultivate client relationships and secure opportunities that lead to new business.
• Engage in significant sales presentations to key stakeholder groups, which may include the Partner.
• Potentially collaborate in target selling alongside Delta Partners or Delta Group business units.
• Represent Delta at national and targeted market trade exhibitions.
• Assess and analyze client specifications and coordinate internal resources to meet client requirements.
• Review system designs and applications throughout the sales process.
• Define vertical markets and create business development initiatives accordingly.
• Accountable for forecasting, quoting, and finalizing long-term projects involving multiple accounts.
• Maintain regular communication with the management team regarding ongoing opportunities, forecasts, and current sales performance utilizing our CRM system and sales reporting tools.
• Approximately 8-10 years of experience in the BAS industry is preferred.
• Direct sales experience is highly desirable.
• Strong professional selling abilities.
• Demonstrated consultative selling expertise.
• Capability to work autonomously from remote locations.
• Experience in prospecting, qualifying, and developing solutions for major clients.
• Must be willing to travel extensively and possess a valid Passport for travel purposes.
• Proven ability to influence, drive, and motivate a sales organization without a direct reporting relationship.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) along with robust interpersonal abilities in both individual and group contexts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and recognized CRM software(s).
• A strong track record of achieving sales objectives.
