This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Identify potential clients who are active in the target markets of Cypress Creek Solutions and conduct thorough research on their business and needs.
• Outreach: Utilize personal and professional networks to connect with prospective clients and build relationships with Cypress Creek Solutions.
• Sales meetings: Conduct in-person and video conference sales meetings to present Cypress Creek Solutions' service offerings and value proposition, identify collaboration opportunities, and understand the customer’s procurement process.
• Proposal management: Oversee the management and execution of proposal development, collaborating closely with the Cypress Creek Solutions Business Development Analyst and key stakeholders.
• Proposal follow-up: Engage with clients to ensure that Cypress Creek Solutions remains a contender in the RFP process and adjust proposals based on client feedback.
• Log and track all opportunities and outreach efforts in the CRM for reporting at the executive level.
• Foster relationships with prospective clients while also nurturing existing client partnerships.
• Market research: Stay updated on industry news and client-related trends to inform the go-to-market strategy.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Contract negotiation: Negotiate essential commercial and technical terms with clients, and collaborate with the O&M team to execute contracts that align with target profitability and risk exposure.
• Assist the Account Management team in securing new business from existing customers and expanding the scope of current contracts.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or engineering; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in account management or business development within the energy sector.
• Experience in developing or working directly with pricing models focused on operations and maintenance services is highly valued.
• Proven experience in negotiating operations and maintenance services contracts with a focus on profitability and risk mitigation is highly valued.
• A robust network of relationships within the renewable energy industry.
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales.
• In-depth knowledge of the industry, with the capability to become a subject matter expert in the role.
• Technical proficiency in solar, storage, and substation assets is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• An unwavering drive to identify and close new opportunities.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
