This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee all Pharma/Healthcare shipments, coordinating their movement and monitoring them during transit.
• Manage shipments from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to DSV policies as well as Pharmaceutical and government regulations.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Efficiently handle all inbound and outbound requirements within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain direct communication with customers, overseas offices, airlines, ocean carriers, and truckers.
• Daily oversight and coordination of shipments.
• Collaborate with overseas offices and agents to arrange air and ocean shipments.
• Establish and manage schedules with carriers for tendering and dispatching shipments.
• Generate and prepare shipping documents as necessary.
• Partner with customs brokers and customs agencies to facilitate customs clearance and release for import shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments effectively.
• Prepare and disseminate reports as needed.
• Proactively identify issues and promptly implement suitable solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding shipment updates, problems, and resolutions.
• Confirm rates and service levels with carriers.
• Responsible for reconciling payables and approving vendor invoices.
• Prepare quotes for clients and other network offices and agents.
• Assess shipments, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective methods for pickup and delivery.
• Investigate non-conformities and collaborate with Quality teams to formulate corrective actions.
• Ensure all DSV KPIs are met throughout the shipment process.
• At least three years of experience in the international transportation industry.
• Education in supply chain logistics, international transportation, or a related field.
• CIFFA certificate is a plus.
• Pharmaceutical certification (GDP/GMP), DSV Pharma QMS, etc. is an advantage.
• Authorized Cargo Representative (ACR) designation is a benefit.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to foster collaborative engagements and practice active listening.
• Service-oriented with the capability to resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building professional relationships internally and externally.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Capable of multitasking, planning, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently to achieve goals.
