This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and seek out new business opportunities across federal, state, local government, healthcare, education, legal, and commercial sectors.
• Create and implement strategic outreach campaigns aimed at organizations in need of language access services.
• Establish and nurture relationships with procurement officers, program managers, accessibility coordinators, and key decision-makers.
• Generate leads through networking, industry events, partnerships, RFIs, RFPs, and proactive outreach.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to proposal submission and contract negotiations.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the language services industry.
• Collaborate with operations and project management teams to create pricing strategies and customized client solutions.
• Assist in the development of proposals for public sector and commercial opportunities.
• Contribute to the creation of capability statements, presentations, and client-facing materials.
• Engage in discovery calls, client meetings, and discussions regarding service implementation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Ensure client satisfaction and facilitate the growth of long-term partnerships.
• Track activities, updates in the pipeline, and forecasting.
• At least 5 years of business development or sales experience in the language services industry.
• Proven track record in selling interpretation, translation, localization, or transcription services.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of language industry operations and relevant terminology.
• Experience in responding to or assisting with RFP/RFQ processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong abilities in presentation and negotiation.
• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Established relationships within the government, healthcare, education, or legal sectors.
• Experience with federal contracting and cooperative purchasing programs.
• Familiarity with language access compliance requirements and accessibility standards.
• Experience with remote interpretation platforms and multilingual service solutions.
• Bilingual skills are an advantage.
