This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The primary role of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to achieve designated revenue targets through enhancing brand visibility and direct sales efforts.
• The BDM is responsible for developing and nurturing effective and profitable sales relationships across various levels and functions within client organizations.
• Besides actively seeking new accounts and revenue streams, the BDM will optimize sales potential with current customers in their designated region.
• Align personal sales outcomes with the strategic objectives of the organization.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies for business expansion and revenue growth in assigned markets.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle, including contract negotiations.
• Create precise proposals, presentations, and bid responses.
• Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly revenue objectives.
• Regularly document sales activities to maintain forecast accuracy.
• Identify and assess sales opportunities based on a thorough understanding of customer requirements.
• Build and sustain trusted advisor relationships with partners and clients at all organizational levels.
• Keep track of changing customer needs and effectively communicate value propositions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with existing partners to uncover and secure new business opportunities.
• Additionally, take the lead in establishing and fostering relationships with new partners to broaden the business network.
• Research and pursue prospective leads in target markets to close sales.
• Set objectives and initiate strategies for new target markets.
• Participate in conferences and industry events that support target markets.
• Stay informed about relevant technologies and trends through active involvement in the industry.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in international sales and business development within the Energy Service Sector, covering both offshore and land operations, along with current knowledge of the energy sector, industry trends, and key indicators.
• Proven experience in selling solutions within well intervention markets; willingness and capability to travel; preference given to candidates with an established network in the Permian Basin.
• Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet aggressive sales targets and enhance market share by acquiring new clients and increasing revenues in existing accounts.
• An enterprising self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment; capable of managing multiple tasks and driving them to completion to meet deadlines.
• Track record of successfully developing a robust sales opportunity pipeline and delivering tangible results.
• Ability to leverage creative and innovative thinking in work activities; comfortable in developing new solutions with a focus on problem-solving and achieving goals.
• Driven by personal accountability with a strong commitment to team dynamics; capable of providing input and following leadership directives at the appropriate times.
• Strong communicator with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders across various levels of an organization.
• Proficient in technology, including all Microsoft Office applications; prior experience with Salesforce or CRM systems would be considered advantageous.
