This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• The Business Development Manager (BDM) – LATAM is tasked with driving sustainable revenue growth for Blue Spark Energy throughout Latin America, as well as among other key operators and service providers in the region.
• This position integrates strategic account development, partner management, and direct client engagement to yield measurable sales outcomes and enhance Blue Spark Energy’s market presence in the well-intervention and production-optimization sectors of Latin America.
• The BDM will bolster Blue Spark Energy’s status as a premier provider of pulsed-power wellbore remediation technology by cultivating trusted relationships with operators, service companies, and local partners, while pinpointing and converting opportunities for scalability, repeatability, and long-term field deployment.
• A primary goal of this role is to transition Blue Spark Energy from isolated pilot programs to structured, programmatic intervention campaigns that are integrated into operators' well health and production enhancement strategies.
• Align personal sales objectives with the corporate revenue and growth ambitions.
• Develop, implement, and adjust strategic sales plans to capture market share and broaden Blue Spark Energy’s footprint in designated countries.
• Oversee the complete sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
• Prepare precise proposals, presentations, and bid submissions in accordance with the company’s pricing and commercial policies.
• Meet or surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts through disciplined use of CRM and activity tracking.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize value for each client and partner.
• Establish, nurture, and sustain trusted relationships at all levels within client and partner organizations.
• Collaborate with local partners, agents, and internal support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Understand and anticipate client needs, positioning Blue Spark Energy’s solutions as the preferred option.
• Act as the regional point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring consistent communication and alignment.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within target markets and sectors.
• Strengthen current partnerships while identifying and onboarding new local representatives to enhance regional reach.
• Maintain robust market intelligence by monitoring competitors, pricing, and activity trends to inform commercial decisions.
• Represent Blue Spark Energy at industry conferences, exhibitions, and client events to promote brand awareness and engagement.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in international sales and business development within the energy services sector, encompassing both offshore and land operations.
• Direct experience in selling solutions within the well intervention market is essential.
• Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating high-value contracts with NOCs, IOCs, and major service companies in South America.
• Results-oriented with a history of surpassing ambitious sales targets, expanding market share, and increasing revenue through both new and existing accounts.
• A well-established regional network within assigned markets is highly preferred.
• Willingness and capacity to travel extensively across the region as required.
• An enterprising self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; capable of managing multiple priorities to completion and meeting deadlines.
• Proven ability to develop a strong sales pipeline and deliver consistent results.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to apply creative and innovative thinking to achieve goals.
• Motivated by personal accountability while contributing effectively within a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Persuasive communicator adept at influencing all organizational levels through clear presentations and strategic messaging.
• Proficient in technology, including the Microsoft Office Suite; prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is considered an asset.
