This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Proactively pursue new business prospects within target markets and the core areas of Pipeline Compliance Software and Bullhorn Cathodic Protection Remote Monitoring solutions.
• Serve as an advocate for customers.
• Formulate and execute strategies to grow the company’s customer base.
• Assess market trends, competitor actions, and customer requirements to pinpoint growth prospects that align with the strategic plan.
• Investigate potential targets within the legacy industry and relevant adjacent sectors.
• Identify key stakeholders and creatively generate interest and leads.
• Represent the brand, company, and team in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the trade show strategy aimed at both new and existing customers.
• Travel to meet clients and customers, with trips comprising over 65% of the time.
• Engage positively with clients through technology when in-person visits are not feasible.
• Over 3 years of experience in developing new customer relationships and sustaining strategic partnerships within the Energy/Utilities/Oil and Gas sector.
• Corrosion or integrity management expertise is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and modify business development strategies accordingly.
• Proven capacity for critical and strategic thinking.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• A proactive hunter mentality, inclusive of cold calling and opening new avenues.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve success.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Energy-related discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with GIS for data viewing and management is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 65%+ of the time for client visits.
• NACE CP Level 1 certification or higher is a bonus.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
