This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Drive the acquisition of profitable new contracts and ad hoc projects through proactive sales initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with potential customers and create new business prospects within the Asbestos industry.
• Identify and reach out to new clients while promoting the services offered by SOCOTEC.
• Introduce and advocate for a broader range of SOCOTEC services.
• Assist in preparing quotation documentation and delivering sales presentations.
• Participate in awareness campaigns, presentations, exhibitions, and the creation of sales materials.
• Recognize new service-stream opportunities and potential client sectors in collaboration with Operations.
• Aim for potential clients and sectors.
• Ensure comprehensive handovers to operational teams after sales are concluded and contracts are secured.
• Collaborate with senior technical and managerial personnel to transform opportunities into confirmed orders.
• Manage accounts to ensure the effective delivery of services.
• Keep track of market trends, client behaviors, competitor activities, and industry innovations.
• Assist in achieving the division’s business plan and sales objectives.
• Contribute to larger SOCOTEC-wide initiatives and strategic business expansion.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing, telesales, business development, or bid environments.
• Background in construction, engineering, asbestos, compliance, or related technical service sectors is preferred.
• Proficient in IT with a strong grasp of Microsoft Office applications, databases, and CRM systems.
• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working autonomously and taking ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to effectively manage priorities and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Strong focus on follow-up, relationship-building, and customer engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Punctual, organized, and diligent, with a keen attention to detail.
• A-level qualified or possess equivalent experience.
