This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for providing daily technical field support and troubleshooting for Hydronic Cooling, Process Water, Technical Water, and HVAC applications along with their related plumbing systems in the Commercial and Industrial sectors, as well as the Data Center and Semiconductor verticals.
• Offer technical advice, training, and, when necessary, field assistance for installation, commissioning, operation, and on-site repair.
• Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to our sales representatives, end-users, engineering firms, and contractors regarding product selection and the development of technical or master specifications that specify the use of Watts products and solutions.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with end-users, customers, contractors, and engineers to influence specifications.
• Responsible for designing and delivering both classroom and hands-on training programs for end users, contractors, engineers, and our sales agents focusing on device specification, selection, installation, usage, and troubleshooting. This includes training initiatives for wholesale channel partners.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of industry and local/national plumbing codes that regulate the selection, usage, and operation of Watts products in Hydronic Cooling, Process Water, and HVAC applications along with their associated plumbing/HVAC systems.
• Participate in Industry Standards Committees, Trade Shows, and other critical industry events as needed to represent Watts and our products in the marketplace.
• Grasp customer needs across market segments and analyze the competitive landscape.
• Contribute to marketing, product management, and engineering efforts to assist in new product development and service offerings.
• Act as the voice of the customer and foster a customer-centric approach.
• Address delays and obstacles promptly to resolve conflicts before they affect execution and delivery.
• Propose improvements to existing processes or recommend new processes to enhance quality and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate directly with the corresponding National Sales Manager and work alongside the Watts Sales team, agent network, and channel partners to bolster Watts Water Technologies' market presence.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical and field sales environments.
• More than 3 years in the flow control industry with a solid understanding of valve and actuation applications or a related proficiency in fluid mechanics.
• A foundational understanding of hydronic cooling, process piping, HVAC, and actuation valves within the Commercial and Industrial plumbing, HVAC, and Industrial process sectors.
