• Formulate and implement a detailed business development strategy aimed at achieving revenue objectives and increasing market presence.
• Identify and seek out new business ventures, which encompass geographic growth, new service offerings, and emerging trends in healthcare staffing.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor actions, and regulatory developments to guide pricing strategies and position Matrix Providers as a leader in the market.
• Possess a thorough understanding of the federal procurement process within the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Department of Defense (DoD), Veterans Affairs, and agency environments.
• Exhibit a hunter mentality with the capability to cultivate long-term, trusted advisor relationships.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts, reporting advancements to the President and executive team.
• Supervise the development of competitive pricing models that maintain a balance of competitiveness, profitability, and adherence to federal, state, and contract stipulations.
• Direct the creation of persuasive proposals, RFPs, and bids, ensuring they align with client requirements and the capabilities of Matrix Providers.
• Collaborate with program management, operations, recruiting, and finance teams to guarantee seamless delivery of staffing solutions in alignment with business objectives.
• Over 10 years of military experience.
• More than 8 years of experience in business development related to government contracting.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Established federal relationships and a proven history of securing contracts valued at $20M or more.
