This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Oversee, enhance, and cultivate relationships with key verticals within distribution partners.
• Illustrate the value of the complete product portfolio and services offered by Stanley Black & Decker.
• Recognize significant national opportunities with distribution partners.
• Handle administrative tasks and ensure timely reporting for all areas of territory management.
• Keep distributors engaged and informed about product offerings.
• Develop and deliver a value-oriented communication strategy.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in a relevant field, or 5+ years of equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in the industrial sector is highly preferred.
• Required proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Technical and mechanical skills to operate tools and machinery.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is preferred.
• Proven time management capabilities with the ability to set priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is advantageous.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations to both customers and the sales team.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
