This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Cultivate, expand, and enhance relationships with key sectors within distribution partners.
• Showcase the value of Stanley Black & Decker’s complete product range and services.
• Identify significant national opportunities with distribution partners.
• Oversee administrative tasks and ensure timely reporting for all territory management areas.
• Keep distributors inspired and informed about product offerings.
• Develop and deliver a value-oriented communication strategy.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field, or over 5 years of equivalent trade experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience in industrial sales is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
• Technical and mechanical skills to work with tools and machinery.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is preferred.
• Proven time management abilities and the capacity to establish priorities are required.
• Understanding of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is desirable.
• Must be capable of developing and presenting programs to both customers and the sales team.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% is necessary.
