This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directs the business development planning and initiatives for the TPA sector, practice area, and assigned office teams, through close collaboration with team leadership and other essential stakeholders.
• Recognizes opportunities for expanding service offerings to current clients, and utilizes a consultative sales approach to coordinate follow-up activities within the industry sector.
• Creates and oversees a proactive and organized sales process and pipeline, while monitoring progress against strategic goals and the business plan.
• Ensures effective coordination and collaboration with marketing colleagues to enhance integrated support for business development initiatives.
• Actively engages in enhancing the company’s visibility within TPA sectors and markets by networking, assuming leadership roles in influential organizations, and cultivating high-value opportunities and business connections.
• Provides coaching in sales and business development, along with occasional formal training, to selected SAEs & AMs, assisting them in achieving their goals to improve their sales techniques and client relations.
• Collects insights on emerging market and industry trends to equip attorneys with an understanding of the competitive landscape, positioning the company for greater success in securing new business.
• Aims to foster a business development culture that embraces a strategic, proactive, and client-focused approach, aiding SAEs & AMs in identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development/sales.
• Strong business acumen and comprehension of major industry sector trends.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Interpersonal and leadership abilities necessary to collaborate effectively with senior executives on a regular basis.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capability to quickly build rapport and earn respect at all organizational levels.
• Extensive experience and proven success in formulating, implementing, and maintaining client development efforts, as well as in developing and expanding client relationships.
• A self-starter who is self-motivated, coupled with a team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and a history of teamwork.
