• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with organizations new to Gartner within your territory, from initial outreach to closing deals, focusing on Large Enterprise organizations.
• Transform viable prospects into engaged Gartner clients, managing the complete sales dialogue and negotiation process until the transition to the account management team is complete.
• Continuously develop a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to meet your sales metrics and ensure KPI targets are achieved.
• Integrate the right mix of insights, guidance, and practical tools to provide significant value to the partnership.
• Hold quota responsibility for your designated territory.
• Manage intricate, high-revenue sales across diverse and complex business environments.
• Take ownership of forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in complex, intangible sales settings.
• Experience in business development or new-client acquisition in a sales role is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with selling to and/or influencing C-Level Executives.
• Demonstrated history of meeting and surpassing sales targets.
• Proven capability to accurately manage and forecast a complex sales process.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
