This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Identify new account opportunities and enhance existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling while providing ongoing account management.
• Act as an alternative contact for customer sales, addressing daily inquiries and business issues.
• Cultivate and enhance customer relationships to drive sales growth within the designated territory.
• Explore potential client opportunities, visit medical facilities and healthcare professionals, and secure referrals.
• Identify pharmacies and transition their business to Medisca.
• Expand Medisca’s presence within existing accounts and utilize compounding prescribers to elevate the brand.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals about compounding to boost prescription rates.
• Foster collaboration among physicians, pharmacists, and Medisca.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and track profit margins.
• Evaluate territory trends, pinpoint opportunities, and monitor pharmacist business activities.
• Follow up with customers regarding sales inquiries and product availability via phone and email.
• Propose new revenue streams and product offerings.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date client data and call logs in company systems.
• Actively follow up with clients to ensure continuous support.
• Conduct cold calls to potential customers and assess opportunities.
• Research prospective clients and follow up on referrals.
• Establish new accounts and assist with the onboarding process.
• Work in tandem with the Account Executive to strategize for account growth.
• Update the Account Executive on planning cycles and offer leads and referrals.
• Travel for client meetings, trade shows, training sessions, and related travel needs, including flights and accommodations.
• A degree from a college or university.
• A background in sales or science is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare sales.
• Experience in business development.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, create strategies, and successfully close sales.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Charismatic, dynamic, and engaging personality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, is required.
• Must reside in Chicago, Illinois.
