This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the representative of SVMIC within a designated territory and foster relationships with policyholders through visits, outings, and phone communications.
• Identify and develop prospects and key partnerships to expand SVMIC’s policyholder network.
• Provide service and retain current policyholders.
• Oversee and manage accounts within the CRM system.
• Achieve growth, retention, call, meeting, and sales targets.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, presentations, and renewals.
• Showcase SVMIC’s value proposition to potential policyholders.
• Request referrals through calls, visits, referrals, social media, and technology.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on conferences, seminars, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate policyholder requests with various SVMIC departments.
• Work in conjunction with Underwriting on renewal data and attend committee meetings.
• Represent SVMIC at industry conferences and seminars.
• Engage in cross-functional teams and special initiatives.
• Recognize opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
• Travel by various means, including air travel, as business needs require.
• An Associate's degree or higher is required.
• Minimum of 6 years in sales, customer service, and account management experience.
• A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
• Experience with Medical Professional Liability (MPL) insurance is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of MPL insurance terminology.
• Must maintain appropriate licensure in assigned jurisdictions in good standing, obtained within 90 days of hire.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
• Certification as a Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or Associate in General Insurance is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal abilities along with the capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively.
• Exceptional public speaking and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and other software applications.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Capability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to research, understand, analyze, apply, and simplify complex information.
• Residency in Texas is mandatory.
• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
• Availability for regular travel, including air travel.
