This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Achieves annual sales objectives and targets for designated accounts.
• Establishes, develops, and enhances client relationships at the appropriate levels.
• Creates account strategies and partnerships with key accounts.
• Delivers weekly sales activity reports to management.
• Develops a client call schedule to meet objectives and sales goals; follows up on leads.
• Provides general insights on major competitors.
• Promotes the business unit’s capabilities and differentiation strategies.
• Identifies and communicates sales opportunities for other business units.
• Sets and manages customer expectations effectively.
• Collaborates with company-wide resources to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Organizes and facilitates client visits.
• Assesses quotations for the territory and offers input to meet client and company requirements.
• Utilizes SFDC to handle internal communications and document territory and client information as necessary for the business unit.
• Accountable for Opportunity Management and precise pipeline forecasting.
• Works collaboratively with sales executives from other Fortrea units to highlight potential opportunities and identify multi-unit projects.
• Aids in determining margins and pricing in conjunction with Client Services.
• Engages in proposal scope development as needed.
• Maintains regular personal contact with clients.
• Participates in corporate teams to establish relationships with key accounts.
• Leads client presentations.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science or business discipline preferred.
• Advanced understanding of the industry.
• Proven client retention capabilities.
• Ability to manage challenging client and/or financial situations.
• Capacity to distinguish Fortrea from its competitors.
• Strong working relationships with internal Fortrea management and site leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire and expand the client base.
• Over 4 years of sales (or relevant) experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, with direct interactions with mid-level and executive decision-makers.
