This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Do you possess a consultative approach and feel at ease managing a significant volume of inbound inquiries while also reaching out to new prospects, including C-Level stakeholders?
• The Business Development Director will play a crucial role in our ongoing expansion.
• You will collaborate across our technology and services ecosystem to provide high-value solutions to enterprise clients.
• As part of a globally operating team, you will focus on selling LanguageWire’s technology stack.
• You will work closely with your direct supervisor, the Senior Director, and the Managing Director for the US, as well as with various departments, such as customer excellence and onboarding.
• You will drive new business growth and consistently meet or surpass annual sales targets within the US region.
• Proactively identifying, pursuing, and converting new opportunities into signed agreements will be part of your role.
• You will generate and qualify leads through strategic outreach, cold-calling, networking, and social selling initiatives.
• Building and nurturing relationships with potential enterprise customers through value-based and consultative discussions will be essential.
• Managing and expanding a robust sales pipeline while ensuring accurate forecasting in alignment with LanguageWire guidelines and best practices is crucial.
• You will oversee the entire sales process, including proposals, RFPs, RFIs, MSAs, presentations, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
• Representing LanguageWire in strategically significant meetings with key stakeholders and decision-makers will be part of your responsibilities.
• Regular visits to prospects and customers to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities will be expected.
• You will provide proactive follow-up and value-driven customer interactions that foster trust and long-term partnerships.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience
• A hunter mentality, with a focus on results and competitiveness
• A strong drive for results and success
• Exceptional skills in prospecting, converting leads into agreements, and qualifying or disqualifying leads.
• A solid understanding of the sales lifecycle, from lead generation to closing deals
• A proven track record of meeting sales targets
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A consultancy toolkit, including problem-solving, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Effective time management capabilities
