This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Accountable for driving revenue growth, fostering strategic client relationships, and broadening business opportunities across designated geographies and sectors.
• Identify new prospects, qualify opportunities, formulate proposals, and play a vital role in converting leads into sustainable client partnerships.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal leadership, utilizing extensive industry knowledge, market insights, and consultative sales tactics to meet corporate goals.
• Seek, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in line with corporate expansion strategies.
• Manage revenue objectives and client relationships for key accounts or geographic areas.
• Formulate strategies to penetrate new regions, vertical markets, or service offerings.
• Assist Client Directors by delivering qualified leads, insights, and avenues for growth.
• Achieve utilization goals and/or team utilization objectives.
• Serve as a trusted consultant to clients, comprehending their business goals and aligning company services to fulfill their requirements.
• Establish and nurture robust executive-level relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to ensure top-notch service and client satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of trends in the broadband, telecommunications, and professional services sectors.
• Offer insights into competitor movements, market possibilities, and emerging client demands.
• Supervise proposal development for significant and intricate opportunities, ensuring alignment with client aims.
• Create and oversee budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for assigned territories or accounts.
• Maintain the CRM system with accurate and timely updates of required client and project information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a combination of higher education and directly relevant work experience in a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account support, ideally within telecommunications, broadband, or professional services.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; confident in presenting ideas and facilitating discussions internally.
• Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Vantagepoint) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the broadband/telecommunications industry, consulting, or engineering services (preferred).
• Experience in proposal development or project coordination (preferred).
• Consultative approach to client engagement and solution creation (preferred).
• Familiarity with broadband or professional services certifications (preferred).
• A valid motor vehicle driver's license in good standing is required. No DWI/DUI convictions.
• Work primarily involves computer tasks, with most assignments conducted in an office-type setting.
• The workflow requires normal mental and visual focus, along with manual coordination for much of the time.
• Attendance at conferences and events in medium- to large-sized venues, with interaction with attendees.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
