• Oversee all elements of regional BioPharma Business Development initiatives for ECL (Eurofins Central Labs).
• Assess and prioritize tasks while identifying key accounts within the designated region based on potential growth opportunities, and cultivate new clients and customers.
• Skillfully guide clients through the sales cycle from initial contact to closing and ensuring follow-up.
• Deliver impactful formal sales presentations to groups effectively.
• Navigate and engage all relevant departments and personnel within accounts.
• Present Statements of Work (SOWs) accurately and promptly, collaborating with Scientific Affairs, Operations, and Project Management.
• Achieve or surpass annual New Contracts Quotas.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing D365 CRM to document all activities.
• Contribute insights to the strategic direction for the overall expansion of the BioPharma business.
• Comprehensive understanding of biomarkers, safety, and efficacy testing.
• Familiarity with central lab technology platforms, including flow cytometry, immunoassays, and genomic platforms.
• An advanced degree in a relevant life science or business field is preferred; a BA/BS degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of Business Development experience is preferred.
• At least 5 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related healthcare sector.
• Ability to learn, retain, and effectively communicate complex technical information.
• Capability to influence leadership and peers.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interaction and collaboration with individuals at all organizational levels.
