This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Business Development and Practice Leadership in preparing for client meetings by gathering and creating sales materials, which include capability decks, proposal drafts, statements of work (SOWs), and redacted reports.
• Coordinate the internal team's responses to RFPs and proposals.
• Ensure that sales materials adhere to the firm's branding, confidentiality, and document retention standards.
• Support the processing of NDAs, signature workflows, and other administrative tasks to facilitate the progression of opportunities through the pipeline.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system, encompassing contacts, accounts, opportunities, projects, and project closure.
• Manage repositories and version control for proposal content, boilerplate language, pricing tools, and reusable sales materials while following document retention protocols.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator to create and enhance CRM dashboards, reports, and analyses to track KPIs such as win rates, pipeline velocity, and outreach opportunities.
• Facilitate client gifts and recognition initiatives.
• Develop, document, and enhance business development and sales support processes.
• Conduct research on clients, prospects, industries, and decision-makers, preparing background materials to assist in business development meetings and outreach efforts.
• Partner with the Business Development Associate to support outreach (emails & calls), follow-up communications, scheduling of discovery calls and sales meetings, and CRM maintenance.
• Organize meetings and video calls for Business Development and Practice Leadership with clients and prospects, while tracking outreach activities and key accounts in the CRM system.
• Maintain and organize the current versions of sales collateral and business development materials (library with version control).
• Support Business Development Leadership in preparing and executing key account planning initiatives.
• Track significant market activities from target clients and competitors, including announcements related to deal closures or corporate mergers/divestitures.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees on CRM and business development tools and processes.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, sales operations, or marketing, preferably in a B2B professional services environment.
• Understanding and proficiency in the following software: MS Office Suite, CRM (Salesforce preferred).
• Intermediate experience and proficiency with Excel (including macros, pivot tables, etc.).
• Intermediate experience and proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations.
• At least 1 year of experience and proficiency with marketing automation software (HubSpot preferred).
• High comfort level with cold calling and experience in crafting and tracking tailored cold and warm email outreach to executive-level prospects.
• Proven experience coordinating responses to RFPs/RFIs/proposals.
• Familiarity with utilizing AI for increased efficiency and productivity.
• Exceptional project management skills, including the creation and maintenance of account plans, with a focus on milestones and targets.
• Strong attention to detail, including meticulous record-keeping regarding all sales activities and CRM data (e.g., contacts’ role/company/location).
• Strategic thinking ability regarding business challenges and the capacity to build and communicate compelling customer value propositions/messaging.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously, with flexibility to re-prioritize as necessary.
• Strong business acumen and a keen interest in understanding the nuances of technical consulting engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, with a passionate focus on detail and accuracy, process-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities while taking direction from various stakeholders.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and willingness to work flexible or extended hours as needed.
• Self-motivated with a strong initiative and drive to complete assignments punctually and with exceptional quality.
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
