This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Identifies and executes business development initiatives related to professional services.

• Conducts economic analyses for new or enhanced product opportunities and/or business models.

• Collaborates with sales, marketing, and prospective customers to assess their requirements.

• Formulates and implements an account strategy and pipeline to secure new business within the DoW ADO market sectors.

• Recognizes, qualifies, and secures new business prospects with a high probability of winning on prime contracts exceeding $50M.

• Engages with customers to identify and shape potential opportunities, leveraging knowledge of their mission and challenges.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 8 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent along with 14 years of relevant experience.

• At least five years of successful experience in Business Development, Capture Management, or Program Management specifically within the defense or federal market sectors.

• Established and extensive relationships with relevant senior and mid-level leaders in DoW or federal clients.

• Demonstrated ability to create strategic industry partnerships and maintain existing relationships with both large and small businesses in the federal and commercial markets.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with senior leadership effectively.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to develop opportunity pipelines, shape prospects, sustain customer relationships, and participate in industry events and conferences.

• Clearance- Must be eligible to obtain and retain a security clearance.
