This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Identify, engage, and secure new partnerships with event organizers and ticketing platforms across Spain and Portugal.
• Establish robust, long-lasting relationships with essential stakeholders in the live events sector.
• Propel revenue growth in the region by enhancing event adoption rates.
• Manage the entire sales cycle with the assistance of the existing commercial team: from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and finalizing contracts.
• Represent TicketSwap at industry events, conferences, and important partner meetings throughout Iberia in conjunction with the Region Lead.
• Work closely with Account Management and Operations to guarantee seamless partner onboarding.
• Provide local market insights to the commercial team.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes in Spain and Portugal.
• Implement regional growth strategies, offering market feedback to the commercial team for continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance against targets and proactively adapt your strategies as necessary.
• Assist in enhancing internal sales processes and tools.
• Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably within ticketing, events, marketplaces, or technology.
• Have a global understanding of the live entertainment ecosystem and be committed to rapidly grasping its complexities.
• Speak fluent Spanish and English (both written and spoken): English is the primary language used internally, while client-facing communications are conducted in Spanish. Proficiency in Portuguese is a bonus.
• Be confident in managing stakeholders at various seniority levels.
• Enjoy cultivating relationships and building trust over time.
• Be comfortable negotiating contracts and discussing commercial terms.
• Take initiative and work independently, while remaining closely aligned with the team.
• Utilize data to guide decisions and prioritize opportunities.
• Be proactive, innovative, organized, and unafraid to explore new opportunities.
• Value fairness and transparency in the live events industry.
• Reside in Spain (preferably in the Madrid or Barcelona area, with convenient airport access from other cities), and understand that regular travel, including overnight stays within Iberia, is a requirement of the role, along with quarterly visits to the Amsterdam office.
