This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Cultivate a sales territory to achieve and surpass profitability objectives as outlined in the strategic plan, annual sales budget, and targeted market penetration for overall volume, margin, and product line.
• Attain successful results through the use of a consultative sales approach, emphasizing relationship building and providing solutions to business challenges.
• Identify customer needs for new products and services, and effectively introduce innovations to existing accounts.
• Generate additional and new profitable business in designated markets, territories, and/or customer segments through inbound or outbound calls to clients.
• Process accepted orders, maintain precise daily records, and ensure necessary follow-up.
• Uphold an extensive knowledge of company offerings while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Keep customers informed with updated pricing, promotional, and marketing information.
• Maintain accurate and current files related to customer interactions, details, and promotional activities.
• Travel to customer locations to sell products and services, build relationships, and resolve issues.
• Maintain exemplary customer service levels and foster ongoing relationships with current and potential clients for future growth opportunities.
• Demonstrate quick thinking and responsiveness under pressure with informed answers.
• Develop and sustain an understanding of customers, competitors, partners, business models, market sizing, and industry trends.
• Conduct data analysis on key accounts/prospects, measuring actual purchases against goals.
• Leverage sales technology/CRM and reporting tools to track sales activities, trends, and market changes.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years of experience in business management, operations, and/or sales.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to foster business relationships.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies and their application.
• Financial acumen adequate for developing and monitoring budgets.
• Strong communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in using the latest technologies, including Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong grasp of customer issues and the ability to articulate value propositions both internally and externally.
• Experienced in collaborating across functional groups and industries to tackle complex problem-solving and account management efforts.
• Decisive and well-organized, with the ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed, capable of delivering project execution and results.
• Proven customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ethical and trustworthy character.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to take on more significant responsibilities over time.
• Willingness to travel as necessary (occasional overnight trips).
