Business Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with customer executives, business leaders, and transformation teams.

• Gain insight into customer objectives, challenges, and operational contexts to formulate outcome-focused transformation strategies.

• Evaluate operating models, business processes, organizational capabilities, data management, and digital workflows to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Develop target-state operating models, transformation roadmaps, business cases, success metrics, and benefits realization plans.

• Facilitate executive workshops, guide decision-making processes, and align stakeholders within complex organizations.

• Provide guidance to customers on how Autodesk and complementary AECO technologies can support business outcomes through efficient workflows, data management, and interoperability.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities for data, automation, and AI based on business value, organizational readiness, governance, and adoption.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, technical consultants, and customer-facing teams to shape advisory engagements, validate strategic recommendations, and create credible delivery roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in AECO, management consulting, or business transformation.

• In-depth knowledge of construction, infrastructure, engineering consultancy, utilities, or a closely related project-based industry.

• Strong familiarity with Autodesk technologies or equivalent AECO tool ecosystems.

• Comprehensive understanding of operating models, organizational change, governance, business cases, and benefits realization.

• Practical knowledge of data-centric workflows, enterprise systems, automation, responsible AI, and technology adoption.

• Capability to lead through influence across cross-functional and international teams.

• Proficient in English; Dutch and other European languages are highly regarded.

• Willingness to travel to customer meetings and Autodesk events throughout Northern Europe (up to 50%).

• Demonstrated experience advising executives, structuring complex problems, facilitating high-stakes workshops, and driving decision-making.
