This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Build and nurture profitable business account relationships to enhance profitability from both existing and new clients.
• Recognize business opportunities through an in-depth understanding of clients, markets, products, and services.
• Deliver sales presentations to current and potential clients.
• Educate clients on the advantages of the organization’s offerings.
• Establish and sustain a robust referral network and calling program to facilitate sales growth.
• Seek out new logo opportunities and guide deals from strategy development to closure.
• Oversee pipeline activities with strong follow-up and execution discipline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to expand and retain the existing customer portfolio.
• Utilize Salesforce or comparable CRM systems to manage leads, activities, and sales performance metrics.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of relevant industry experience.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally, with some national travel required.
• Previous experience in business card sales or payment solutions.
• Strong expertise in sales and new business development.
• Capacity to identify new logo opportunities and perform consultative discovery.
• Experience engaging with mid-size to large enterprises, particularly those with $10MM+ in annual revenue.
• Proficient in credit analysis and financial evaluation skills.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles pertinent to financial transactions.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating and leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Proven ability to manage pipeline activities effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payment products.
• General understanding of product marketing and organizational functionalities.
• Strong customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, decision-making, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to enhance and maintain portfolio customer relationships.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Must adhere to U.S. Bank policies, the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, as well as workplace conduct and safety regulations.
