This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Cultivate profitable relationships with business accounts.
• Enhance profitability from both existing and new accounts.
• Recognize business opportunities by leveraging knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
• Deliver sales presentations to both current and potential clients.
• Educate clients on the advantages of the organization's products and services.
• Establish and sustain an effective referral network.
• Execute a call program to drive sales growth.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Seven to nine years or more of pertinent work experience.
• Willingness to travel (local, regional, and occasionally national).
• Previous experience in business card sales/payments.
• Strong skills in sales and new business development, including prospecting new logo opportunities, consultative discovery, and managing deals from strategy to closure.
• Experience with mid-sized to large businesses, particularly those generating $10MM+ in annual revenue.
• Proficient in credit analysis and financial assessment.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions.
• Demonstrated success in developing and utilizing Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Competence in managing pipeline activity with effective follow-up and execution discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of payment products.
• General awareness of product marketing and organizational operations.
• Exceptional skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, decision-making, and creative problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams to expand and retain the existing customer portfolio.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Residing near St. Louis or Springfield, Missouri.
