• Generate new business opportunities to help achieve the goals of the Business Banking division.
• Proactively evaluate the needs of potential clients and prospects, offering suitable financial solutions.
• Ensure that proper loan underwriting and structuring is completed by adhering to the bank’s Business Banking and Corporate loan policies.
• Conduct outreach to high-potential prospects and business banking customers to promote and fulfill their banking requirements.
• Oversee and manage the loan portfolio, addressing exceptions and past dues in line with loan policy.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through continuous relationship management.
• Collaborate closely with Relationship specialists and Business Banking Leaders to meet sales and service objectives.
• Carry out assigned tasks in compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
• Actively oversee and nurture a pipeline for both borrowing and non-borrowing customer prospects.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Formal training in credit analysis.
• Between one to five years of experience in business banking and/or lending.
• Up to five years of extensive sales experience.
• Demonstrated history of high performance and success in a sales/service-oriented banking or financial services setting.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal, public relations, and client service skills.
• Excellent organizational, verbal/written communication, and sales presentation abilities.
• Proven capacity to resolve issues and make sound business judgments.
