Business Analyst/Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Collaborating closely with development teams, the Product Owner/Manager, and other stakeholders to design and implement product initiatives.

• Presenting solutions that can be substantiated and articulated to teams.

• Leading assigned stories and guiding stakeholders toward consensus.

• Assisting in the creation and execution of our comprehensive plan for all products.

• Working in partnership with business stakeholders to establish priorities, foster agreement, and coordinate product roadmaps and timelines across multidisciplinary teams.

• Spearheading the development of business cases for strategic technical projects.

• Facilitating communication throughout the product development lifecycle across various teams.

• Aiding in UX redesigns and continuous improvements in line with CI.

• Contributing to documentation including technical and design specifications.

• Engaging in discussions regarding technical solutions with developers and offering innovative ideas for solutions.

• Maintaining a keen awareness of industry trends and issues, especially concerning accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, while keeping team members updated as appropriate, to integrate these insights into future projects and position both yourself and the company as digital specialists.

• Continuously striving for personal development by learning new technologies and staying informed about market developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience working with web UX, e-commerce, or a related field.

• Experience in Systems/Business Analysis.

• Ability to query data sources effectively.

• Experience with consumer-facing organizations.

• Familiarity with iterative software delivery methodologies such as Agile, SCRUM, etc.

• Basic knowledge and experience in HTML, XHTML, and CSS programming.

• Some knowledge and experience with various database technologies.

• Strong understanding of Web Accessibility and UX principles.

• Self-motivated and responsible.

• Ability to empathize with users.

• Demonstrates a high level of understanding.

• A collaborative team player.

• Possesses a positive and proactive mindset.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
