Business Analyst – Workday Financials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main finance support resource for the Workday platform.

• Possess hands-on experience with Workday configuration, financial reporting, and integrations.

• Oversee and address ServiceNow tickets by evaluating priorities in partnership with stakeholders.

• Provide quick solutions for tickets and manage long-term projects that may last weeks or months.

• Exhibit strong documentation practices and demonstrate adaptability to diverse daily tasks.

• Analyze General Ledger impact, including the ability to read and comprehend account posting rules and conditions.

• Manage the Foundation Data Model (FDM), ensuring the upkeep of Entities, Regions, Business Units, Cost Centers, Bank Accounts, Worktags, and more.

• Generate Financial Reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite), including those for Revenue, Supplier, Expense, Customer, Payments, and Tax, utilizing Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields.

• Test and implement Workday, including executing the pilot, implementation, and deployment of new requirements or enhancements to the Workday application and integration support.

• Design and develop new integrations while maintaining existing ones using Workday integration tools such as EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, and Document Transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of AP, AR, Payroll, Intercompany, Banking and Settlement, Procurement, Lease Accounting, Inventory, and Billing modules in Workday.

• Proficient in PSA – Professional Services Automation – Projects and Resource management.

• Familiarity with Workday business processes and their relation to integrations.

• Workday Pro certifications are preferred.

• Experience with Adaptive Insights is preferred.

• Knowledge of HCM, Payroll, and Benefits is preferred.

• Familiarity with other systems such as ServiceNow, Adaptive, and Power BI is preferred.
