Business Analyst, SAP Finance – LATAM / India

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gain insight into their needs, processes, and requirements.

• Utilize SAP Finance functional expertise to analyze business processes and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

• Collect, document, and validate both business and functional requirements.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.

• Serve as a liaison among business stakeholders, SAP teams, and technology teams.

• Assist in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation.

• Engage in workshops, working sessions, and meetings with stakeholders.

• Identify process deficiencies and propose solutions.

• Aid in the development of test scenarios, execution, and user acceptance testing.

• Support the identification, analysis, and resolution of issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Maintain comprehensive project and requirements documentation.

• Convey project updates, requirements, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology environments.

• Strong functional expertise and practical experience with SAP Finance (FI).

• In-depth understanding of finance-related business processes supported within SAP.

• Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.

• Experience in complex enterprise or consulting environments.

• Capacity to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams.

• Knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Financial Accounting, financial reporting, and SAP Finance integrations.

• Experience with SAP Finance / SAP FI, requirements gathering and documentation, functional analysis, business process analysis, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, UAT and testing support, problem solving, as well as written and verbal communication skills, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Must have significant availability overlapping with Canadian business hours and be available until at least 3:00 PM EST on a regular basis.
