Business Analyst, SAP Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend business needs, processes, and requirements.

• Evaluate business processes and pinpoint opportunities for improvement utilizing SAP Finance functional expertise.

• Collect, document, and validate business and functional requirements.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, SAP teams, and technology teams.

• Assist in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation.

• Engage in workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

• Identify gaps in processes and propose solutions.

• Aid in the development, execution, and user acceptance testing of test scenarios.

• Support in identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Maintain project and requirements documentation.

• Communicate project updates, requirements, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology settings.

• Robust functional knowledge and practical experience with SAP Finance (FI).

• Deep understanding of finance-related business processes and their integration within SAP.

• Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Experience in complex enterprise or consulting environments.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams.

• Familiarity with General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Financial Accounting, financial reporting, and SAP Finance integrations.

• Experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, functional analysis, business process analysis, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, UAT/testing support, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Must provide significant overlap with Canadian working hours and be available until at least 3:00 PM EST regularly.
