Business Analyst – Risk Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive business and systems analysis with a focus on IT integration within the banking industry, demonstrating your capability to comprehend and enhance intricate processes.

• Deploy IT systems in banking, applying your technical expertise to assess, improve, and automate processes, guaranteeing efficiency and innovation at every phase.

• Suggest transformative solutions and introduce creative ideas to improve operational processes, consistently thinking ahead.

• Leverage data analytics and customer insights to inform decision-making, excelling in the art of evaluating situations from diverse perspectives.

• Partner with the Risks and Operations teams to strengthen processes such as debt collection and fraud prevention, making a significant impact where it is most needed.

• Investigate vendor and product integration, contributing your distinctive viewpoint to the conversation.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and users, including Product Owners, development, and design teams, to refine processes through thorough A/B testing and effective troubleshooting.

• Produce flawless documentation including BRDs (Business Requirements Documents), FSDs (Functional Specifications Documents), specifications, User Stories, Test Cases, and Use Cases.

• Adopt a systems thinking perspective, engage in testing, and collaborate closely with development teams to foster innovation and excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, IT integration, or a FinTech environment, showcasing a proven ability to navigate and enhance processes relevant to FinTech and IT systems.

• Proficiency in specifications, databases, software tools, problem-solving, and testing methodologies.

• Excellent decision-making abilities, emphasizing empathetic solutions that align development costs with business objectives.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and connecting with a wide array of individuals and teams.

• Familiarity with APIs, system logs (e.g., Splunk), SQL, and DBMS principles.

• Previous experience in startups (100-300 employees) is advantageous.

• A demonstrated history of developing successful financial products is a plus.
