This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collaborate closely with the client's Product Owner in managing product operations.
• Assist in the management and organization of the Product Backlog.
• Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements and business rules.
• Create user stories following best practices (INVEST, acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready).
• Engage in Discovery, Refinement, Planning, Review, and Retrospective sessions.
• Ensure that requests are comprehensive and detailed prior to the start of development.
• Address functional inquiries with the development team during sprint execution.
• Conduct technical and functional refinements in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist in prioritizing requests alongside the client's PO.
• Validate deliverables from a functional standpoint before business acceptance.
• Prepare process flows, business rules, and functional documentation as needed.
• Facilitate communication among business areas, architecture, development, QA/testing, and stakeholders.
• Monitor backlog progress indicators, deliveries, and agile metrics.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
• Background in agile teams utilizing Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
• Proficiency in writing user stories.
• Understanding of requirements elicitation techniques.
• Experience in managing and maintaining a Product Backlog.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and business teams.
• Familiarity with acceptance criteria, refinement, and prioritization of requests.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary settings.
• Preferred: experience in the Insurance or Financial sectors.
• Preferred: knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
• Preferred: familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Preferred: understanding of BPMN or process modeling.
• Preferred: experience with Design Thinking, Event Storming, or other discovery techniques.
• Preferred: Scrum certifications (PSPO, PSM, CSM, or similar).
• Preferred: knowledge of SQL for basic queries.
• Preferred: experience in digital transformation initiatives.
