Business Analyst – Middle/Senior – Trading Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• **About the Role**

• We are seeking a **Business Analyst** to become a part of our trading product development team at a **centralized crypto exchange (CEX)**. This position requires close collaboration with product, engineering, and various stakeholders throughout all phases of feature development — from conception and market analysis to delivery and launch.

• A **strong grasp of trading fundamentals** is essential (including spot trading, futures trading, order types, PnL, fees, and basic liquidity concepts). While extensive trading expertise is not required, practical knowledge is necessary.

• **Key Responsibilities**

• - Analyze and break down product requirements for trading-related features

• - Perform competitor and market analysis (CEX / DEX / trading platforms)

• - Develop, maintain, and enhance product and business documentation, such as:

• - Product Requirements Documents (PRD)

• - Business Requirements

• - User Stories and Use Cases

• - Acceptance Criteria

• - User flows and business logic diagrams

• - Collaborate closely with:

• - Product Manager

• - Backend and Frontend engineering teams

• - QA and Design teams

• - Facilitate knowledge transfer to the development team:

• - Clarify business logic and edge cases

• - Engage in grooming and refinement sessions

• - Address product-related inquiries during development

• - Involve yourself in all phases of the feature lifecycle:

• - Discovery

• - Design

• - Development

• - Testing

• - Release

⛳️ Requirements

• **Must-have:**

• - 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (Middle) or 4+ years (Senior)

• - Knowledge of trading fundamentals:

• - Spot trading

• - Futures Trading

• - Order types (Market, Limit, Stop, etc.)

• - PnL, fees, and balances

• - Basic understanding of liquidity and matching engines

• - Strong proficiency in creating clear, structured documentation

• - Capability to transform requirements into clear specifications

• - Experience collaborating with engineering teams

**Nice-to-have:**

• - Familiarity with CEX architecture (accounts, balances, orders, ledger)

• - Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma
