Business Analyst Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• You will take on the responsibility of:

• Serving as a functional expert on Commerce projects, providing guidance to the team on proposed solutions;

• Leading requirement-gathering meetings with clients;

• Analyzing documentation from clients and vendors;

• Collaborating closely with the Product Owner to detail and refine features;

• Assisting architects and the technical team in breaking down requirements into clear, actionable tasks;

• Managing the backlog and keeping the engineering team updated on upcoming deliveries;

• Creating process and/or data flows to visually depict requirements;

• Participating in design sessions and, when needed, developing wireframes;

• Engaging in agile ceremonies, estimations, and scope definition;

• Managing requirements and changes through version control and change management processes;

• Supporting the development of test scenarios, acceptance test plans, and issue tracking;

• Conducting demos and acceptance sessions with clients, gathering feedback throughout the project;

• Developing training materials and leading sessions with users;

• Reviewing deliverables from other analysts;

• Leading and mentoring the team’s business analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in client-facing roles (experience in consulting firms or agencies is a plus);

• Prior experience with Commerce platforms or Order Management Systems (OMS);

• Clear and confident communication abilities, including presentations to stakeholders;

• Strong background in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements;

• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities, working with clients and technical teams to devise solutions;

• In-depth understanding of business processes and the capacity to convey them to the technical team;

• Experience with data modeling, flowcharts, and process mapping;

• Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams across various time zones;

• Familiarity with management tools such as Jira and Confluence (or similar);

• Experience with platforms including Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Fluent Commerce, SAP Hybris, Mirakl Marketplace, and others;

• Proficient in English for both oral and written communication.
