Business Analyst, Jira Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead the establishment and configuration of Jira projects, encompassing intricate workflow design, custom fields, and issue type schemes.

• Conduct discovery sessions to gather requirements, converting business needs into high-quality user stories along with clear acceptance criteria.

• Design and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to maintain data security and ensure organizational compliance.

• Supervise the integration of Jira with essential enterprise systems, including PowerBI, Snowflake, and Salesforce.

• Manage and prioritize backlogs, ensuring that sprint-based delivery aligns with project milestones and stakeholder expectations.

• Employ JQL (Jira Query Language) to create advanced dashboards and reports that offer insights into project health and team velocity.

• Continuously assess and enhance SDLC processes to boost software delivery efficiency and foster cross-team collaboration.

• Extensive experience in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Jira Cloud.

• Proven expertise in gathering requirements, documentation, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.

• In-depth understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and the capability to function in fast-paced, sprint-oriented environments.

• Strong proficiency in writing complex Jira Query Language filters for advanced reporting and automation.

• Demonstrated ability to design and manage complex process workflows that correspond to real-world business scenarios.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective expectation management and technical guidance for diverse stakeholders.

• Proven experience collaborating in Agile teams within 100% remote work settings.

• Fluent in English for daily professional communication and documentation.
