This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist in documenting business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Capture meeting notes, decisions, and action items from discovery sessions.
• Maintain documentation of requirements and supporting artifacts.
• Update Jira work items with pertinent business context.
• Document both current and future-state workflows.
• Research existing system functionalities and business processes.
• Identify gaps in processes and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in analyzing customer-reported issues and enhancement requests.
• Participate in requirement reviews and sprint demonstrations.
• Execute scenarios for user acceptance testing.
• Validate completed work against established acceptance criteria.
• Aid in defect triage and reproduction efforts.
• Assist with the preparation of release notes and activities related to deployment readiness.
• Support updates to documentation and internal communications.
• Help monitor enhancement requests and production issues.
• Develop an understanding of title, settlement, escrow, and closing processes.
• Learn about state-specific business rules and regulatory requirements.
• Build expertise in Connect Close workflows and functionalities.
• Receive business context and objectives for features.
• Support activities related to backlog refinement.
• Obtain guidance on requirements development and solution analysis.
• Assist with research and documentation tasks.
• Clarify documented requirements as needed.
• Support testing efforts and validate defects.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience in title, mortgage, real estate, financial services, or SaaS environments.
• Generally requires 2+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, customer support, or software implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Jira or Agile development methodologies.
