This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Participate in daily standup meetings with the Medical Policy team and internal modules.
• Develop and revise implementation strategies and design checklists for designated healthcare policies.
• Evaluate dependencies and support the Project Manager in pinpointing risks and challenges.
• Organize and facilitate brainstorming sessions for policy research and design initiatives.
• Analyze affected operational areas and document necessary paperwork.
• Collaborate with operational and development teams throughout the policy lifecycle and releases.
• Establish scope in conjunction with DHCS and the Project Manager for each designated medical policy.
• Formulate strategy and oversee the execution of provider manuals, bulletins, and messaging campaigns directed at Provider Portal external users.
• Assist in directing updates to artifacts, including scripts, standard operating procedures, and User Guides.
• Support operational unit training, addressing questions, providing answers, and managing escalations.
• Work in tandem with Publications, Provider Training, and Operational Training delivery teams.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the healthcare sector.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, including configuration, development, and batch processing.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other quantitative analysis tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and expertise in business process re-engineering.
• Ability to recognize and implement operational enhancements.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Capacity to convey complex technical concepts to business leaders, clients, and technical stakeholders.
• Video cameras are required during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
