This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Create business requirements and convert business needs into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and project teams.
• Record business processes, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria to facilitate solution validation.
• Produce client-facing work products and contractual deliverables while ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Communicate business priorities, project risks, dependencies, and implementation constraints to internal teams and VA stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and tools that support project management, communication, and operational activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions to enhance project efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Assist in cross-functional coordination, action item tracking, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to team goals and undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least two (2) years of consulting experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting the Federal Government or a federal contractor.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in gathering business requirements and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience in gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.
• Skilled in facilitating stakeholder meetings and requirements workshops.
• Strong business analysis and process documentation capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience in creating acceptance criteria and supporting solution validation.
• Ability to identify project risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating across cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience in supporting business analysis activities within the Department of Veterans Affairs or another Federal agency is a plus.
• Experience in Healthcare IT or the healthcare industry is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile project environments and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus.
• Experience in supporting client-facing consulting engagements is an additional qualification.
• Public Trust clearance is preferred.
• Selected candidates will need to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check.
