Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

• Conducting business analysis for the enhancement and development of IT software applications

• Creating IT system requirements and defining acceptance criteria

• Optimizing business processes and analyzing data workflows

• Facilitating user interviews and gathering feedback through sessions

• Engaging in the design process for IT solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• At least two years of proven experience and successful performance in: (a) Business analysis for the improvement and development of IT software applications. (b) Creation of IT system requirements and acceptance criteria. (c) Optimization of business processes and analysis of data workflows. (d) Conducting user interviews and feedback sessions. (e) Participation in the design process of IT solutions.

• Proficient in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.

• Strong grasp of application development, particularly with low code/no-code solutions such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).

• Ability to closely collaborate with business representatives to identify needs and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for IT teams.

• Excellent collaboration abilities, capable of facilitating workshops and effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in an iterative, agile development setting.

• Strong command of the English language; proficiency in another UN language is advantageous.

• A first-level university degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Certification in business analysis is preferred.

• Desirable: (a) Experience with JIRA and testing software. (b) Understanding of enterprise relational databases and integration patterns. (c) Familiarity with AI-enabled applications (e.g., chatbots, intelligent assistants, agents) and the ability to recognize opportunities for their application in business process enhancement.
