• We are partnering with a FinTech client in the Indian lending sector to develop the infrastructure and consumer products that link borrowers with suitable loans from appropriate lenders.

• You will manage the discovery process with a portfolio of bank and NBFC partners.

• Engage with senior product, credit, and operations leaders at partner banks and NBFCs, both in person and via calls, to gain insights into their lending workflows, internal challenges, and gaps in their existing integration.

• Transform these discussions into clear, prioritized opportunities that enhance both the partner's approval rates and customer experience.

• Collaborate with the partner financial institutions to co-create solutions, ranging from policy adjustments and API contract modifications to entirely new product flows, guiding them from concept to implementation.

• Document the requirements, edge cases, and acceptance criteria necessary for the internal product and engineering teams to build effectively on the first attempt.

• Remain engaged after launch, monitoring adoption, identifying what works and what doesn’t, and incorporating insights into future solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in business analysis or associate product roles, preferably with some interactions with external stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills, proficient in SQL and Excel, capable of transforming complex partner data into actionable insights for CXOs.

• Ability to communicate effectively in a room with senior bank and NBFC leaders, delivering clear and structured messages with minimal jargon.

• A proactive approach towards owning outcomes rather than delegating tasks.

• Highly preferred: Engineering degree from an IIT or NIT.

• Previous experience in FinTech, especially in areas like lending, credit, payments, or banking-as-a-service.

• Some hands-on software engineering experience, even if brief, allowing you to engage with engineers on APIs and data contracts as a peer.
