Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Tier 2 intake and clarification: Analyze incidents and requests, confirm the scope, perform triage/reproduction as necessary, and document both business and functional requirements.

• Convert needs into delivery-ready artifacts, which include user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.

• Assist in release execution by collaborating with development and QA teams to validate scope, identify risks early, and coordinate UAT inputs when applicable.

• Facilitate coordination among stakeholders and vendors, ensuring alignment across business teams, support teams, and SaaS vendors for fixes and updates.

• Create and maintain lightweight documentation (runbooks, FAQs, known error patterns, and knowledge articles) to minimize repeat incidents.

• Utilize data-driven analysis to identify trends (recurring issues, high-volume tickets) and propose continuous improvement opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a technology or consulting setting.

• Strong proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation, including user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Experience in supporting production applications (incident/defect triage, operational changes).

• Familiarity with utilizing AI tools to boost productivity in requirements analysis, documentation, and support-related tasks is a plus.

• Comfortable working with both vendor-supported SaaS and custom-built applications.

• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Exposure to ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is advantageous.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and documentation abilities.
