This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead workshops for discovery and conduct interviews with stakeholders.
• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements effectively.
• Convert business objectives into both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Promote alignment between business and technical teams.
• Assist in solution design and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document both current-state and future-state business processes.
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate initiatives for business process optimization.
• Develop process maps, workflows, user journeys, and business capability models.
• Collect and document requirements for data, reporting, analytics, and ML/AI.
• Evaluate data quality issues and support governance initiatives.
• Define KPIs, business metrics, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure analytics solutions meet business needs.
• Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of solutions.
• Support initiatives for data platform modernization.
• Aid clients in identifying and prioritizing analytics and AI use cases.
• Contribute to the development of business cases and roadmaps.
• Aid in change management and activities related to user adoption.
• Over 6 years of experience in Business Analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in leading requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement efforts.
• Strong background in process mapping and enhancing business processes.
• Experience in projects related to data, analytics, reporting, or data modernization.
• Solid understanding of data quality concepts and associated challenges.
• Proven experience in defining KPIs, business metrics, and reporting requirements.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and documentation abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks in a consulting environment.
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable: Energy, Mining, Construction, or Utilities.
• Familiarity with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial Trading/Energy trading is advantageous.
• Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Genie, AI/BI, PowerBI, and Tableau is a plus.
• Engage in impactful data, analytics, and AI projects within Canada's key industries.
• Collaborate with seasoned consultants, architects, and data experts.
