Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with both business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, converting them into clearly defined user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Assist in product planning by refining and prioritizing backlog items to ensure alignment with business goals, technical limitations, and delivery schedules.

• Engage in solution design and systems analysis to guarantee that proposed solutions satisfy both functional and non-functional requirements, including considerations for performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Contribute to the delivery lifecycle from inception to implementation by participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and release coordination.

• Examine existing systems, workflows, and processes to uncover gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization or modernization.

• Serve as a link between business and delivery teams, providing ongoing clarification of requirements, assisting with testing and validation activities, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, sharing updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Create and sustain functional and integration test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring comprehensive coverage of end-to-end business and system scenarios.

• Assist in test execution activities during sprint cycles, system integration testing, and deployments, which includes defect triage, validation of fixes, and confirmation of release readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience analyzing and documenting complex service-based and integration-driven IT systems, including service orchestration and assurance platforms.

• More than 3 years of experience supporting Agile teams by managing backlogs, refining features and user stories, and participating in Scrum or SAFe ceremonies.

• At least 3 years of strong capabilities in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting functional, non-functional, and integration requirements to ensure alignment with business and program objectives.

• Over 3 years of solid understanding of service assurance and service management concepts, including event correlation, workflow orchestration, operational processes, and performance metrics.

• Proven ability, with over 3 years of experience, to collaborate with Business Owners, Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and Delivery teams to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely delivery.

• Ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while actively listening to comprehend business needs, constraints, and concerns.

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the adaptability to shift priorities and approaches—especially within Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.

• Strong interpersonal skills to establish trust and work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.

• Demonstrated analytical thinking to identify root causes, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend practical, well-reasoned solutions in complex or ambiguous circumstances.
