Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of expenses within the Cost (CO) and JVA modules;

• Comprehend different types of cost allocations related to primary and secondary cost elements, distributions, settlements, and postings;

• Evaluate billing (Charge or Provision) of expenses (YSCO_CJI3);

• Record time entries for active employees in SAP and oversee their approval process;

• Develop and track the partnership budget;

• Analyze allocations within the partnership cost center;

• Prepare, review, submit, and address any rejections of expense lists sent through SGPP (PPSA);

• Analyze and monitor the budget in relation to Cash Call and billing;

• Assist with audits of non-operator partners as well as internal audits;

• Maintain documentation for SOX control compliance (PAR);

• Manage and oversee AFEs (Authorization for Expenditure);

• Provide insights on analyzed expenses to stakeholders involved in partnership processes;

• Calculate cost and volume equalizations for production allocation and individualization processes;

• Support both internal and external partnership audit processes;

• Execute other similar tasks of comparable complexity and scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced English;

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI and Spotfire) for data processing and management report creation;

• Familiarity with SAP modules JVA, MM, CO, FI, PS, and PM;

• Knowledge of SAP BW;

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the oil & gas industry or related activities, subject to contract supervision approval;

• At least 8 years of experience in roles similar to the scope of services in oil & gas projects, subject to contract supervision approval if the applicant lacks a degree in the specified fields;
