This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work closely with Marvel’s internal legal team on matters related to entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property.
• Assist in the preparation of talent agreements for feature films, streaming series, and animated projects.
• Draft both above-the-line and below-the-line contracts for feature films, streaming shows, and animated works.
• Evaluate intellectual property rights, issues, and clearance matters concerning Marvel assets.
• Report directly to the Lead Counsel.
• Previous internship experience at a film or entertainment company or within a law firm.
• Strong analytical abilities to manage and execute multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional research capabilities and resourcefulness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to work independently.
• High level of discretion in handling sensitive or confidential information.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited law school and taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) preceding the internship program.
• Completion of one or more years in a current JD program at the start of the internship.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Availability to maintain a consistent and reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
• Fully available Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm PST, for a total of 20 hours per week.
• A reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace are required.
