This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Drive New Customer Acquisition: Actively seek out, connect with, and secure new clients through focused outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting.
• Understand Customer Needs: Engage with potential clients to evaluate calibration requirements and future service demands, positioning Tektronix as their preferred partner.
• Develop and Present Solutions: Craft customized proposals tailored to equipment types, calibration specifications, and service delivery methods (on-site or depot).
• Negotiate and Close Deals: Provide pricing, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements that optimize value for both the customer and Tektronix, including implementing price increases where necessary.
• Promote Long-Term Partnerships: Offer multi-year contract options and clearly articulate the benefits to foster enduring customer relationships.
• Manage Sales Pipeline: Keep precise records of opportunities, activities, and progress in the CRM system to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Respond to Inbound Leads: Qualify and convert leads generated from marketing and demand generation initiatives into new business opportunities.
• Articulate Value Proposition: Effectively communicate Tektronix’s solutions, unique selling points, and benefits to prospective clients to enhance conversion rates.
• Achieve Growth Targets: Regularly meet or surpass assigned KPIs, activity metrics, and revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Continuous Development: Engage in ongoing training to improve product knowledge, sales capabilities, and overall performance.
• Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within a B2B context.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building rapport and effectively negotiating with clients.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with the industry or market segment, including insights into competitor offerings and client requirements.
• Experience in the eT&M industry or a related field is advantageous, bringing valuable insights and connections that may enhance business development.
• Advanced analytical skills are essential for identifying trends, opportunities, and potential market challenges.
• Proficiency in CRM software or other sales tools is crucial for optimizing client relationships.
• Strong problem-solving abilities are necessary for creatively addressing client issues and overcoming objections.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, marketing, or a related field provides a solid foundation in sales principles and strategies.
