Bus Fleet Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take an active part in the technical development and dependable maintenance of the bus fleet.

• Serve as the technical liaison between workshops and vehicle along with system manufacturers.

• Evaluate faults and vulnerabilities, coordinating technical enhancement measures.

• Oversee the vehicle systems of current vehicles while aligning technical and operational requirements.

• Create and refine maintenance strategies and processes.

• Assume full responsibility for warranty, statutory guarantee, and goodwill cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree (Bachelor’s or University of Applied Sciences degree) in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar qualification backed by extensive professional experience.

• Proficient in the German language (minimum C1 level).

• Familiar with technical regulations and legislation, including DGUV regulations and DIN standards.

• Strong understanding of maintenance processes, electronic vehicle systems, and systematic fault diagnosis.

• Excellent communication skills and a confident demeanor when acting as the interface between vehicle manufacturers and workshops, as well as when coordinating and aligning requests and requirements.
