Bulgarian Over the Phone Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver real-time telephonic interpretation between Bulgarian and English for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.

• Provide interpretation services in immigration, legal, and administrative environments with precision and neutrality.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS regulations.

• Manage both pre-scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls effectively.

• Engage in training sessions, compliance refreshers, and quality audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Bulgarian and English.

• Over 2 years of professional interpreting experience (preferably in immigration, community, legal, or governmental sectors).

• Understanding of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.

• Exceptional communication skills over the telephone.

• U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency is required for eligibility for Tier 3/Tier 5 security clearance.
